OTI Premium Steps are prefabricated, engineered, and independently tested. They should not be held to the same standard as a site-built step or deck. Additional engineered documentation is available where required.

How long do steps take to assemble?

Typically, they can be assembled in 10–15 minutes.

What is the load capacity of the Premium steps?

Steps have been evaluated and tested to meet the 2018 IRC Code, 50 lbs per square foot.

What is the largest platform size?

We offer a 38″ platform for each step height. When combined with the step, the usable platform is 42″ × 48″.

Are the steps required to be anchored to the ground?

This will be determined by the local authority having jurisdiction where the steps are installed.

What size treads are on the steps?

Our Standard steps have 9.25″ treads. Our Premium steps have 10.25″ treads.

Do the steps meet my local building codes?

Our Premium steps are designed and tested to meet the 2018 IRC code. Documentation is available upon request. Local codes may vary.
