How long do steps take to assemble?

Typically, they can be assembled in 10–15 minutes.

What is the load capacity of the Premium steps?

Premium steps have been evaluated and tested to 50 lbs per square foot for specified 2018 IRC criteria. Documentation is available upon request.

What is the largest platform size?

We offer a 38″ platform for each step height. When combined with the step, the usable platform is 42″ × 48″.

Are the steps required to be anchored to the ground?

This will be determined by the local authority having jurisdiction where the steps are installed.

What size treads are on the steps?

Our Standard steps have 9.25″ treads. Our Premium steps have 10.25″ treads.

Do the steps meet my local building codes?

Premium steps have documentation for specified 2018 IRC criteria. Final approval depends on the selected configuration, installation conditions, applicable local code edition, and the authority having jurisdiction.
